Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working President and former Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao, popularly often called KTR, on Saturday criticised the ruling Congress after Components E cancelled the Hyderabad E-Prix, which was slated for February 10. He known as the Congress’s resolution to not proceed Components E in Hyderabad a “poor” and a “regressive decision”.
KTR claimed that the Hyderabad E-Prix enhanced the model picture of town. He additionally talked about that it took lots of effort from the then BRS authorities to convey Components E to Hyderabad.

The announcement of cancelling the event came after the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) department decided not to fulfil the agreement that was signed between the BRS government and the organisers of Formula E on October 2023.
Hyderabad had earlier hosted the FIA World Championship’s first leg in February 2023.
