Supporters of Congress normal secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have put up posters in Raebareli, asking her to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the social gathering stronghold in Uttar Pradesh.

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi had held the Raebareli seat since 2004.
The demand for Priyanka Gandhi to contest from the Congress bastion elevated after Sonia Gandhi, her mom, introduced final month that she will not contest the polls citing “health and age issues”.

On February 19, Sonia Gandhi was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan.
