Congress normal secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday recalled India’s victory on the 1983 cricket World Cup and stated her grandmother after which Prime Minister, the late Indira Gandhi, had referred to as the complete staff for tea.
“At that time, Indira ji was very happy, she had called the entire team home for tea,” stated Priyanka whereas campaigning for the Congress in Telangana.
Talking on the delivery anniversary of her grandmother, Priyanka added, “Today is Indira ji’s birthday and we will definitely win the World Cup again.”
Congress chief Jairam Ramesh additionally shared a video of a reception hosted by the late Prime Minister for the 1983 profitable staff. Within the video, Indira Gandhi is seen shaking palms with the profitable staff and lifting the World Cup with them.
