Former AIADMK minister Dindigul Srinivasan has attributed the get together’s resolution to exit the NDA to the projection of BJP State President Annamalai as the subsequent Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

But when Annamalai came, cadres yelled that the next PM is Modi and the next CM is Annamalai. Do we look like fools? We will vote to make Modi as PM, but you will vote for Annamalai as next CM. You think we will quietly keep following?” requested Dindigul Srinivasan.

Notably, AIADMK had earlier claimed that the get together severed ties with the NDA on account of Annamalai’s alleged insults to the legacies of Anna and Jayalalithaa.
