Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan took a dig at Tamil Nadu’s ruling occasion, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), over its stance on Sanatana Dharma, saying that they don’t perceive the idea, which is an “eternal belief”.
She said, “They don’t know what Sanatana is and don’t want to accept it. They celebrate Ravana”.
“The division is according to work. It is a big debate. They consider Sanatana only as the caste system, while it is a way of life and eternal belief,” Soundararajan, who was BJP’s Tamil Nadu Chief previous to her appointment as Telangana Governor, mentioned.

“They are playing divisive politics with Aryan-Dravidian, atheist-believer, brahmin-non-brahmin, Tamilian-North Indian and Hindi-non-Hindi separations. Their politics is built upon this divisive base,” Soundararajan mentioned.
She claimed that the idea of the Aryan invasion of Khyber “is not true”.
