The Congress on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) of partaking in a photograph op with the grieving mom of a slain soldier who died in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress mentioned that BJP leaders persevered in clicking pictures regardless of the mom’s pleas to chorus from such a “public display”.
In a video shared by opposition leaders on social media, the mom of Captain Shubham Gupta will be heard saying, “Ye pradarshani mat lagao” (do not do that public show), whereas Uttar Pradesh Minister Yogendra Upadhyay makes an attempt at hand over a cheque to her.
Sharing the video on X, Congress social gathering wrote “vultures”.

Shame,” he wrote on X.
Captain Shubham Gupta from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra was amongst 5 military personnel killed in a two-day encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajauri on Wednesday and Thursday.
Captain Gupta, son of a authorities lawyer, joined the Military in 2015 and received commissioned into the ninth battalion of the Military’s elite Parachute regiment, extra popularly generally known as the 9 Para SF (Particular Forces) in 2018.
